Effective 19 February 2022 · Last reviewed January 2026 · Operated by Waggie Pty Ltd, trading as Airport Shuttle Services.
These Terms form the booking contract between you (the passenger, or the person booking on a passenger's behalf) and Waggie Pty Ltd, trading as Airport Shuttle Services. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
They apply to every airport transfer, student transfer, theme park transfer, cruise transfer, tour transfer and charter we provide. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) rights and guarantees apply, and nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any ACL right that cannot be excluded.
"We", "us", "our" and "Airport Shuttle Services" mean Waggie Pty Ltd trading as Airport Shuttle Services. "You" means the person making the booking and any passenger travelling on it. "Booking" means a confirmed reservation for a transfer or charter. These Terms form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your booking, except where statute requires otherwise.
Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, by email, or through an authorised partner platform. Quotes are valid for 24 hours from issue (or until the time specified), subject to vehicle availability. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us by email or SMS. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide — pickup and drop-off addresses, flight number, times, passenger numbers, ages of minors, luggage and special requirements. We are not liable for transfers that fail or are delayed due to incorrect information supplied at booking.
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example corporate, university or cruise-line account terms). We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, EFT and PayPal. Card surcharges of up to 1.5% (domestic) or up to 3% (international/AmEx) may apply, in line with RBA guidelines. All prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated. An after-hours surcharge may apply to transfers starting between 10:00pm and 6:00am and on public holidays, shown on your quote where applicable.
To change a booking — a different pickup address, new flight number, changed passenger numbers — contact us as soon as possible by phone or email. Changes more than 24 hours before pickup are usually free unless they require a different vehicle or substantially different route. Changes within 24 hours may incur an administration fee or price difference depending on availability.
All cancellations must be made in writing (email bookings@airportshuttleservices.com.au) and are effective only once we acknowledge receipt. Fees are calculated against your scheduled pickup time:
| Notice given | Fee per booking |
|---|---|
| More than 48 hours before pickup | No fee — full refund |
| 24–48 hours before pickup | 25% of booking total |
| 4–24 hours before pickup | 50% of booking total |
| Less than 4 hours before pickup | 100% of booking total |
| After pickup time (no show) | 100% of booking total |
These fees are a genuine pre-estimate of operational cost (driver scheduling, vehicle allocation, lost re-booking opportunity), not a penalty. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 business days of acknowledgement; card-surcharge components are not refunded. Bookings made through universities, cruise lines or corporate accounts may be subject to different cancellation terms set out in the partnership agreement, which prevails where there is any conflict.
A "no-show" is when a passenger fails to meet their driver at the agreed place and time and has not contacted us. After waiting at least 15 minutes past pickup at airports (10 minutes at residential/hotel addresses) and attempting to reach you, our driver may leave and the full total is charged. If you can't find your driver at the airport, call us immediately on 0448 588 156 before assuming they aren't there — most "missed driver" incidents are resolved within minutes by phone.
Where you provide a valid flight number for an airport pickup, we monitor your inbound flight in real time and automatically adjust the pickup to the actual landing time at no extra charge. If your flight is significantly delayed (more than 60 minutes) we may reassign your booking to a different driver or vehicle and keep you informed by SMS or email. If your flight is cancelled or rerouted, notify us as soon as you know and we'll work with you on a reasonable solution — a later time, a credit, or a refund, depending on circumstances.
Drivers meet you at the agreed pickup point; at Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast airports the default is the arrivals hall meet-and-greet area with a name sign, confirmed in your booking. For drop-offs we deliver to your booked address. We may be unable to access unsealed roads, gated communities without prior arrangement, narrow lanes or properties with no safe turning option, in which case the driver drops you at the closest safe point. We allow a 10-minute window either side of the booked time for traffic and dispatch.
Standard inclusions per passenger: one large checked bag (up to 23 kg / 158 cm linear) plus one carry-on (up to 7 kg). Surfboards, bicycles, golf clubs, oversized instruments, ski equipment and similar items must be declared at booking and may incur a charge or require a different vehicle. Undeclared excess luggage may not fit; we'll offer the next available solution, which may incur a fee. Passengers are responsible for their own items — please don't leave valuables, passports, medications or fragile items in checked bags. Items left in our vehicles can be claimed within 30 days.
We comply with all Queensland and Australian child-restraint laws — children under 7 must travel in an appropriate restraint or booster; please advise ages and weights at booking (a small hire fee may apply). For passengers under 18 travelling alone, the booking must be made and authorised by a parent, guardian, school or institution; all drivers hold a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card); the driver won't leave the passenger until safely received by a nominated supervisor; and we may share progress information (including GPS location) with that supervisor for safety.
We welcome passengers with disabilities, mobility needs or medical requirements. Please advise at booking of wheelchair use, mobility aids, service animals, conditions requiring driver awareness or any other accessibility need. Not all vehicles are wheelchair-accessible; where required we allocate an appropriate vehicle or refer you to a suitable partner. We can't provide medical care, lifting beyond standard luggage handling, or unaccompanied care for passengers requiring continuous assistance, and recommend such passengers travel with a companion.
Seatbelts must be worn where fitted; smoking, vaping, alcohol and illicit drugs are not permitted in our vehicles; visibly intoxicated or unsafe passengers may be refused service; cleaning fees may apply for spillages; and damage caused by passenger behaviour is charged at the cost of repair. Drivers may terminate a transfer where behaviour endangers the driver, other passengers or the vehicle, with no refund.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL — a cancellation and refund for a major service failure or compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss; re-supply of the service for a non-major failure; and services supplied with due care and skill and fit for the purpose made known to us. Subject to those non-excludable rights and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to resupplying the transfer or refunding the amount paid, at our reasonable discretion. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including missed flights, cruises or events, lost wages, accommodation or replacement transport — arising from delays genuinely outside our control. Our vehicles are fully insured (CTP, public liability and commercial vehicle insurance).
For your own protection we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, missed connections, lost or damaged luggage, medical expenses and personal liability. Travel insurance is not included in our price and is not arranged by us.
How we collect, use and protect your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. By booking, you confirm you have read and accept it. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
If something goes wrong, please tell us — contact our team on 0448 588 156 or bookings@airportshuttleservices.com.au. We acknowledge written complaints within 3 business days and aim to respond within 14 business days. If you're not satisfied you may contact the Office of Fair Trading Queensland (qld.gov.au/fairtrading, 13 74 68) or the ACCC (accc.gov.au).
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Federal Court. If any provision is found invalid it is severed and the rest continues to apply. We may update these Terms; the current version is always at this URL and applies to bookings made after the effective date. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and your booking confirmation, form the entire agreement between you and us.
These Terms are effective from 19 February 2022 and were last reviewed in January 2026. They replace all previous terms of service and should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
