Ways to get from BNE to Surfers Paradise
There's no direct train to the door, so it comes down to how much you value a straight-through trip. The honest comparison:
Private transfer

Train + G:link tram
Airtrain to Helensvale, then the G:link tram into Surfers. Cheapest solo option, but two changes and a walk with luggage.

The drive: what to expect
From the airport your driver takes the Gateway Motorway south, joining the M1 Pacific Motorway — the main artery down to the Gold Coast. It's a straightforward, mostly-motorway run of around 75 minutes in normal traffic, dropping you right at your Surfers Paradise hotel, apartment or address.
The M1 can bank up on Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings, and during Gold Coast event weekends. If you're on a tight schedule we'll build in a buffer — and because your fare is fixed, traffic never changes the price you pay.
