Coolangatta sits at the very south of the Gold Coast, right on the Queensland–NSW border — about 105 km, or roughly 95 minutes down the M1, from Brisbane Airport. It's the furthest of the Gold Coast beaches from Brisbane, so a straight-through transfer beats juggling connections with luggage.

Coolangatta is a long way south with no direct public route, so it comes down to comfort and time:

The drive: what to expect
From the airport your driver takes the Gateway Motorway and heads south on the M1 Pacific Motorway, running the length of the Gold Coast down to Coolangatta at the border. It's a straightforward, mostly-motorway run of around 95 minutes in normal traffic, dropping you right at your Coolangatta hotel, apartment or address.
The M1 through the Gold Coast banks up on Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings. We build in a buffer when it matters — and because your fare is fixed, traffic never changes the price you pay.
