Auckland's city centre — the Sky Tower, Viaduct Harbour, Commercial Bay, and the famous waterfront — is approximately 21 km from the airport. The drive takes around 25 minutes in normal traffic, or up to 45 minutes during peak hour. Ponsonby, Parnell, and Newmarket are all within the standard CBD fare.
Takapuna, Devonport, Milford, and the North Shore beaches sit across the Waitemata Harbour from the CBD. Devonport is accessible by a scenic 12-minute ferry from the CBD, but we transfer directly from the airport. Albany, Browns Bay, and Orewa are also serviced.
Rotorua's geothermal landscape, Te Puia, Wai-O-Tapu, Whakarewarewa, and Māori cultural experiences are approximately 235 km from Auckland Airport. We also service Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Whakatāne, and the surrounding Bay of Plenty. Pre-booking required.
Hamilton is the Waikato's major city and a common destination for Waikato University students, agricultural sector visitors, and business travellers. Cambridge, Te Awamutu, and Raglan surf beach are all accessible from Hamilton. Approximately 130 km south on the Southern Motorway.
The Bay of Islands — Paihia, Kerikeri, Russell — is approximately 250 km north of Auckland Airport via the Northern Motorway and State Highway 1. Whangarei is an intermediate stop. The Bay of Islands is one of New Zealand's premier sailing, dolphin watching, and fishing destinations.
Waiheke Island — New Zealand's most celebrated wine and olive oil island — is accessed by the Fullers360 ferry from the Auckland Ferry Terminal at Quay Street. We transfer you to the terminal in time for your sailing. Waiheke is approximately 35 minutes by ferry from the CBD.

International & Domestic terminals
Auckland Airport has two terminals — International and Domestic — connected by a free inter-terminal shuttle bus (approximately 10 minutes) or a covered walkway. The International Terminal handles long-haul flights from Australia, Asia, the Americas, and the Pacific. The Domestic Terminal handles Air New Zealand and Jetstar flights within New Zealand.
After clearing customs and biosecurity in the International Terminal, exit through the sliding doors into the arrivals hall where your driver waits with a name board. New Zealand biosecurity can add 20–40 minutes to processing time, particularly for passengers arriving with food items from Australia — allow for this when estimating your arrival time.
Note that New Zealand operates on New Zealand Standard Time (NZST, UTC+12) or NZDT (UTC+13) in summer. This is 2–3 hours ahead of Australian Eastern time, depending on daylight saving.
